Neville Mutsvangwa, son of Women  Affairs Minister Monica Mutsvangwa and ruling party, Zanu PF spokesperson Christopher  Mutsvangwa, has remained in custody for illegally trading in foreign currency.

The Mutsvangwas are close to President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s allies who played a pivotal role on ED’s ascent to power.

Mutsvangwa and his son are always on the wrong side of the law despite massive protection from ED.
Mutsvangwa has reportedly  been arrested on  Wednesday for illegal forex deals.
He was arrested by officers from the Commercial Crimes Division at his Mt Pleasant home.

The police have not yet issued a statement but a source told Zimhub that Mutsvangwa is likely to appear today at The Harare Magistrate’s Court.

At least 77 illegal forex dealers have been arrested since the introduction of the new ZiG currency with the government threatening to paralyze money changers.

This comes as the Financial Intelligence Unit has netted 181 companies and individuals.

Mutsvangwa is well known for  Starlink distribution and forex dealings.
