Kambamura stops illegal mining in Malborough surburb

Mines and Mining Development Minister Dr Polite Kambamura has moved in to stop illegal mining at a residential place in Malborough following an outcry by residents led by local councillor Kudzai Kadzombe.
The Minister says government does not issue mining licences for urban residential areas.
Dr Kambamura made the remarks in Kadoma yesterday while addressing the Marlborough illegal mining incident in which eight people were arrested on Sunday.
