Mwonzora under siege

The MDC-T security department led by Shakespear Mukoyi today took over operations at the party headquarters and accused party leader, Douglas Mwonzora, of running the once formidable opposition outfit.Mukoyi said Mwonzora has reduced the opposition party into a pale shadow of its former self under the leadership of the late former party president Morgan Tsvangirai.

Police camped at the Morgan Tsvangirai House, formerly Harvest House today where the party activists claimed takeover of the party.

Mukoyi accuses Mwonzora of financial mismanagement, failure to pay workers among other issues.

Mukoyi called on other political parties not to interfere with the ongoing party operations.
