Five Homeless Men Found Dead In Harare Streets In One Week

The streets of Harare have transformed into a terrifying hunting ground as a ruthless serial killer instills fear in the hearts of the community

In less than a week, the bodies of five homeless men have been discovered, bearing gruesome mutilations that suggest a ritualistic motive behind the murders.

The first unsettling discovery was made on August 28, when the lifeless body of a man in his 30s was found at the corner of Simon Muzenda and George Silundika.

This victim had been dismembered, with a gruesome detail—the missing private parts.

On September 1, near First Capital Bank on the corner of Innez Terrace Road and Robert Mugabe, another horrific scene unfolded.

A homeless man lay lifeless with severe head injuries, sending shockwaves through the community.

Two days later, on September 3, the Avenues area witnessed another brutal killing, as a homeless man was reportedly found dead on a flight of stairs at Nelson Mandela and 7th Street.

Witnesses reported that he had been bludgeoned to death with a large stone, his body concealed under white sacks, and inflicted with stomach bruises and a cut in his privates.

In response to the escalating terror, it had been reported that the police have launched a relentless manhunt to track down the perpetrator.
